Monica Williams

After graduating from the Eastman School of Music, classically trained flutist Monica Williams found a deep love for the sounds of world and hybrid flutes that called her to New Age music. Her music is a blend which includes classical, jazz and world music overtones intended to inspire, relax, and create optimism. In addition to C flute, her flute collection includes bamboo, Native American, pan, alto, and bass.

Monica's first release, "Journey of Tears" received a Best Contemporary Instrumental nomination from Zone Music Reporter. Her 2020 release, Within Us All" charted at #5 on the Billboard New Age Chart, has been programmed on the SXM Spa Channel, and is receiving worldwide radio airplay and can be heard on US and International airlines.

Dave Clark is a multi-instrumentalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He plays electric and acoustic instruments in jazz and classical styles, both as a solo performer and in groups. His new age duo with flautist Monica Williams appears on Heart Dance Records.

Dave’s guitar technique derives from his classical training, and his electric guitar sound reflects the influence of Grant Green and the blues he heard in his youth in the Deep South. Dave studied classical guitar performance under David Hogue and the late Bruce Holzman at Florida State University.

More recently he has been fortunate to study with jazz masters including Mimi Fox, Bob Brumbeloe, Ken Rosen, Randy Vincent, Richard Saunders, and Tiny Lindsey.
