Matt Starling
Musician, teacher, audio engineer, and bandleader Matt Starling is a native of Salt Lake City, UT, where he currently resides. Matt is the founder of the electroacoustic music group, the Salt Lake Electric Ensemble, where they perform works by Terry Riley and Philip Glass. Inspired by the generative music and compositions by ambient artist Brian Eno, Matt has created Music for Nina, being presented and released as a single, a one-hour Meditation album, and an eight-hour Sleep album. Suffering from insomnia for many years, it is Matt’s hope that this music is used to help ease anxiety, aid in meditation practices, and assist listeners who are seeking inner peace.
