"A couple of days before our recording session, I was rehearsing, but nothing was sounding right. I was out of flow. Stepping away to center myself and let go of the frustration, when I returned, ‘The Gift’ appeared. For me, it was a sign all would be well and I was on the right track! Kristen arrived for rehearsal and said, ‘keep playing’…. as she wrote her part….Aptly, we felt the whole experience was a gift, and so it became the album title."
